Hmmm...You mean with an actual woman, and not a cyber one? Ohh dear. Well I do think it's important to have alot of the same likes and dis-likes in a relationship. Right now my life is pretty bland. Work work work. And more work. I always said that I wanted to be a millionare before I was 35..and that's in a couple of months. Yah...you guessed it. I am not there yet.

I don't like 'em. I know a couple of people that had them just to get family members to North America. I asked them about it and they told me that because they did that, now they have a hard time convincing their future Husband/Wife that they were not involved at all with their EX. Personally..I would never do it. I want to get married only for love, and not to get something out of it. Why do you ask MyMy...do you have someone in mind??

5. How would u describe urself in a lonely hearts column?

Go to Lavalife...and look under Dalejr08 in both the Dating & Relationship sections, and you shall have your answer. You won't believe the responses I get.

The MOST daring thing I have done?? Hmmm... I had a affair with a teacher of mine. Well...it was more of a relationship. I dated her for 5 yrs or so. Daring enough for you? True story.

7. If given the chance to repeat life... at what age would you start?

I would give anything to go back to the age of 18. With what I know now...and given the chance to correct a few little detours in my life. Yah...18 sounds about right.

8. If you were another person, would you be friends WITH you?

I must admit I am not easy to get along with. I have a very low tolerance for B.S. in my life, and people who lie to me or talk about what I am doing in my life, get cut off quickly. Even my family doesn't really know how much money I have or what I plan on doing with it. I however go all out for those I do care about. I always shift my schedule when someone asks me for a favor, and never say no to anyone who I care about.

9. How do you release anger?

Revenge is good. LOL. No..I usually don't like to get angry. It clouds the mind and I found that it does nothing but make me make mistakes in life. Say that 10 times fast.

10. What's the perfect going to sleep scenario
for you?

I would have to say...A warm summer day. Cooking a perfect meal with that special Godess of a GF on my outside terrasse, Then maybe taking a swim in the pool together as the last rays of sunshine gleam ever so lower through the trees. Kind of a playful embrace ensues. Alot of giggling and splashing. Then as night slowly emerges...I drag my GF into the shower with me and lather each other, making passionate love. Later flip on the TV and cuddle on the sofa fresh fom the shower we have a few glasses of wine. We relax in each others arms until sleepy, then up to my bed to fall asleep as the sounds of crickets churp outside and a warm breeze flows past the curtains. Sounds kindda sappy...[smiley=blush.gif]

Well, I wouldn't really call it a dream Gracia, it's more like a goal. It is a realistic goal. It just will take me a couple more years longer than I expected to get there because when I was in my 20's I wasted so many years working for other people making them rich, and now I work for myself. It took me awhile to figure out a plan. As for other dreams, I like to call them "future" plans. LOL. But they are all materialistic. My dream house, and also a custom log home built on an isolated lake to spend my summers at. Everything else is just bonus.

My...really? LOL. Ok...to answer your Q...no, nothing specific. I have no set thing that I am looking for in a GF, but I know it when I see it.

Irritates me the most? Hmmm...I would have to say that people who judge other people or issues without having all the facts or who have never met the person they are trying to criticize. That bugs me alot. I also am irritated by jealous people. Jealous people, because they are unhappy with their lives & just like to spread rumors and talk trash about people who might have more crap than them. And if they just got off their azzes and worked harder, they too might be more successful. Ohh and people who can't add. I say that because for years I worked in a store on cash, and let's say their bill is $2.60, and they give me $5.00. Most people don't think to give me the 10cents so that they round off their bills and get back $2.50. Maybe I find that most people don't use their brains alot when it comes to money. Yesterday when I gave a cashier $10.04 on a bill of $8.29, she looked at me and wanted to give me back the 4cents. I told her it would work out. She seemed shocked when the change back was an even $1.75. Computers are great, but they seem to be making a whole new Generation of people who have forgotten how to use their brains even for simple things, and who lack basic skills. I dunno...maybe I just hate pennies.

What have you been secretly dying to do?

I have been secretly dying to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail (AT for short). The AT stretches 2 100 miles from Georgia in the South to Maine in the Northeast. Thru-hike means to continually hike the full lenght of the trail in one calendar year. Hiking over mountains and streams, carring everything I would need in a backpack, sleeping out in the woods or in shelters created along the trail roughly about a days hike apart. Stopping in towns along the trail only to rest up and to resupply with more food. Ahhh...The urge was strongest when I was in my early 20's. Most people start the hike in Georgia in March or April, and walk North and if all goes well reaching Maine in September or early October. If I was to attempt a thru-hike, if would certainly whip my butt into shape pretty quick..LOL.

What's the biggest life change you have been through recently?

Hmmm. I dunno. I guess maybe finally deciding that I needed to get my butt into gear and that life was way too short to sit around and hope & wish that all my dreams come true. My new motto in life is now the Nike slogan..."Just Do It!!"

What's your get-the-girl secret?

Well. Every Girl I have ever met, liked someone who was funny and had a sense of humor. They also like someone who isn't fake and just tries to be themselves. I have always tried to be myself, and I have always kept my word to people. I never said anything to a girl that I didn't feel, or didn't want to do. And I think that women respect that more than anything. If a woman doesn't have respect for a man, then she looses all interest.

Hmmm...I don't like to kiss & tell. But since I no longer am seeing the GF in question, and she has no idea who I am online, I will tell you. My GF and I went to Quebec-City soon after we started to date. One of the oldest major cities in North America, and the old part of the city is the closest you can get to being in Europe without actually going there. We went in the Autumn and it was chilly then, but we kept each other warm. We stayed at a friend of my GF's while he was out of town on business. A charming old home that over-looked the city. We walked hand in hand around the very old and narrow streets, stopping to passionately kiss and snap a few pictures. We did this all weekend. We would just walk around and explore the city during the day. We would go out at night to romantic restaurants and then rush back to the place where we were staying to make love all night. Yah...I have fond memories of that weekend together.

Hmmm. That is such a hard question. The best thing I think would have to be when one of my GF's asked me if I wanted to marry her. I was caught off guard, and it was too soon, and I was pretty sure that I didn't want to get married at that time in my life. The worst thing...hmmm?? I really don't remember anything. If someone says something to me that I don't like, I just forget it...then them.

When I was in High School I was depressed. I didn't want to go to school. I hated it. I didn't fit in and I found school boring. The teachers I had were not really helpful and I just had this big complex about what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I just felt too much pressure. Seems silly now.

Still with the Jon thing?? Hehehe..alrighty then. I browsed around some of the Yahoo chat rooms about a year ago, with another ID and didn't find anything special about it. I then read online somewhere about the romance chat rooms and I thought what the heck. I went into a couple of other rooms and found alot of BS and when I entered AC-1 and there was none of that, I stayed lurked for maybe an hour. I then just started chatting with people in the open forum. Now as to what keeps me coming back to AC-1. Well...to be honest I don't go into the room as much anymore. Maybe once or twice a week..if that. I just like posting here better. Here I can chat with people and they don't even have to be online. It really is a better time manager than AC-1 is. Anyone specific....hmmmm...maybe.

Ahhhh...Cathy your so sweet they way you shape your sentences. Poor thing...doesn't know where she is half the time. Alright...If I had the chance to meet one of the gals from this board, to be honest there are alot of really smart sweet gals here. And I really don't know if I could pick just one. I would have to get to know some of you gals more. As for the date side of things, I guess she would have to decide that for me, because if I were to met a gal I would be the one going to the PI, not her coming to see me. I would like to go and pick her up at her house, and sit and chat with her family for awhile, then sight-see most of the day. Then back to a restaurant close to where she lives for supper and then maybe sit and talk somewhere as the sun sets. I would then take her home before it gets dark and my shoes turn into a pumpkin.

Ok...just went and took a look. 8 Corona, a whole bunch of bottled water, a whole slew of condiments (condiments must be a guy thing), eggs, alot of different cheeses, 5 different kinds of canned soda (Coke, Mountain Dew, Iced tea, Some sort of orange drink, diet 7-up), 5 Labbat Blue's (beer), a whole bunch of veggies (Don't ask me to go and look into the vegtable bin because something is making strange sounds from within), leftover Steak & pasta from my supper a couple of hours ago, Milk, Lemonade, A couple different juice drinks, a loaf of whole wheat bread, a couple of limes, gatorade, that's about it. I wished I had a cam so I could just take a pic, so much easier.

4. How would you please an old woman wearing boots?
I think I would give her a foot massage. I have yet to meet a "Mature Lady" that didn't like to have her feet rubbed and tickled. I got that one from Prince.

Nah...You would just buy all sorts of CD's & DVD's and rack up a huge bill, and that goes against my motto...it's gotta be on sale honey.

Seriously?? For real? Ok...because when light from the sun enters air molecules at different angles, and each angle is essentially a prism. So when light enters the molecules in a day with full sun the sky appears blue, and when the light enters the molecules near sunset it appears red or orange because the angle at which we view the light going through the molecule has changed. Simple. Or maybe your sunglasses are just tinted blue? Hmmm...maybe.

I like a couple of different kinds of pizza. One locally called "All Dressed", which basically amounts to cheese, green peppers & pepperoni. Also I really like Hawaiian, (cheese, ham & pineapple) Ahhh...heaven. I also like the meat lovers pizza from a little joint down the street from where I used to live. I also crave the vegetarian pizza from a new place downtown run by a bunch of monks who always try to give me a copy of their rap demo CD. Crazy kids those monks.

LOL, this one is a tough one. I dunno about any wood that they chuck...but around here the woodchucks...are called groundhogs. I have only seen them burrowing into the hill down the road and come over to eat my beautiful blue flowers I have in pots on my deck. That is until I sprayed my flowers with water then sprinkled Cayenne Pepper all over them about a week ago. I awoke a couple of nights later to the sound of something screeching madly outside and as the sounds headed towards the stream across the road I drifted back to sleep with a smile on my face, my flowers haven't been touched since. I find woman who are confident, smart, and who know what they want in life I find sexy. This issue was bothering me last week. I was in line at the bank and there was a guy and a girl couple in from of me in line. The were having a little fight. He was being a jerk. I guessed they were living together and she wanted him to take her out for her birthday. He kept on saying no and that she didn't deserve it because she didn't finish doing all the housework. This dude needed a good smack. He was in charge of the money and was using that as a weapon against her. I guess alot of guys might not have considered her "a babe", but I thought she was very sexy. Just the way she held herself and the look in her eyes. Uhhhh!! I wanted to tell her that she didn't deserve to be treated like dirt and that she needed to dump his azz, and that she was a very sexy woman who needed a man to treat her better and one that would respect and cherrish her more. I bite my tongue, and brushed it off as none of my business. Which it was. I just find that half of the woman that I find sexy, don't even know they are sexy. Not right now. Last year I picked up a stray cat. He was a good little guy. He was pretty skinny & I was sure he had worms and other problems. He had a really bad cold and he always had a runny nose. I had him for about a couple of weeks and wanted to make sure he gained a little weight and stuck around before I took him to the Vet and spent alot of money on him. I went away for a couple of days and decided to leave him outside while I was away. I put some food and water out for him. When I got back he was no where to be found. I searched the woods around my house. Nothing. A couple of days past and I finally found him down the road aways from my house. He had been hit by a car. One of his back legs was broken and he was in alot of pain. I took him into the Vet and the Vet thought it was better to put him down. I agreed. After that I just couldn't get another animal. I felt responsible for what happened. And since I am not home for days at a time, a dog is out of the question. So until my life calms down a bit I won't get another pet. But I do like both dogs and cats.

Well, I have not found the right gal who I think is right for me. I have known alot of great gals but there was always this little nagging doubt in the back of my mind. Plus why the big hurry anyways? I know alot of friends who rush into marriage just because they reach their mid-20's and get this nervous feeling that they will be all alone in life or maybe they just settle for whoever is around. I don't think I have a crush Tina. Ohh dear...I feel a rant comin' on here, and it's about time I pen some ideas I have floatin' around inside my MENSA ce-soir mes amis that deal with online relationships.

I don't really have a "crush" on anyone I have met in AC1, for a couple of reasons.

First...I really don't know alot of the gals that well, and to simply base an attraction based off of people's posts is just soooo limited to make a proper judgment of them.

Next...I have only been on the Net for about a year and a half, and when I was first plugged in, I started an online relationship with someone. And based off of that experience I have smartened up alot.

My first comment on online relationships, is that people lie about themselves. Yah...they do folks!! There I said it!! Alot of people change who they are, into who they want to be, or appear as. So the girl who says she is slim, doing her Masters and Lives alone in an upscale appartment with her cat and her little stuffed teddy bear, actually has three kids a sofa that is being held up with duct tape and phone books and a serious affair going on with the pizza dude just to score free pizza. Ok...so all people don't lie THAT much...but it should be part of this discussion. People will say things that make it seem like they are as close to being "perfect" as possible. Let me just say that "perfect" ...doesn't exist...not in an online relationship anyways.

Next...no matter how much time you spend on the phone, chattin'...or on cam, you will never get a true sense of just what that person is like until they are sitting in front of you. There is no just no way. People often hide things on cam just like they do when your chattin' with them, only there is a greater degree of difficulty involved because you can see them. Only you see what they want you to see, and nothing else. Yah...I see you rolling your eyes but you know I am right. You just refuse to admit it.

Next, and this is prehaps the most crucial point. A person builds the other person up into this seemingly "perfect" person. There is that word again...Perfect. Dangit I hate using that word. No one is perfect...NO ONE! When people are involved in an online relationship they often create this whole fantasy World complete with fantasy scenarios to complete that person and fill in the void within their own lives. They rarely are anything like you pictured in your fantasy World in person. Ohh sure, they might appear exactly like you imagined them to be the first week or so you meet them, but soon the tinted glasses come off and they let down their guard and your whole World comes crashing down around you until the real person is revealed. Ahhh...but what a glorious week that would be. Was it worth it? That leads me to another point about online relationships.

They become all consuming. You start to shift your life to met their needs, just to make sure your online when they are. You stop living your life and soon are transformed into them. You don't even notice this has happened at first. It slowly creeps up on yah, until you no longer go out much, skip working out, are online all hours of the night, when you should be sleeping. Then work suffers from both lack of sleep and starting to chat or call from work. Sound familiar?? Stop me anytime here. LOL. Then what happens is you loose sight of your goals in life and start to focus more about their life and goals, making the fantasy scenario circle complete.

I know...your thinking right now that I posted this about you...whoever you are, but no, I didn't. This post was strictly based from my personal experiences online. But it was designed to make people think. I know some of you out there agree with what I posted because you have been there before, and done that, and if not, well...there is nothing that I could say to you that will make you believe otherwise, except personal experience. Period..Point-Finale. And if you don't agree, then I can accept that as well.

Now having posted my rant...I still think in all honesty that online relationships are a good thing. It's just wise to exercise a bit of caution when entering into affairs of the Heart online with someone. Now where did I put her email address again?? Ohh yah...duct taped it to my couch.

Hmmm...with some food, clothes and rental cars yup, but suprizingly not so much with women. I have dated Goth chicks to Prep Girls with no problem. I find it's more about what the individual woman is like, and if I like her. I have in recent years developed a better understanding of just exactly what kind of look and character traits I am searching for in a woman than before. But it's still pretty broad.

Clean sheets, no alarm clock, spending time with family & friends, going outside with a few beers on a clear night and watching the Northern Lights or maybe a few shooting stars. Driving fast on a hot Summer night with the tunes blasting, windows down and nothing but a lonely highway infront of me. Yah...the simple things.

Sad...Ohh dear. What makes me sad is when an actor or musician dies and everyone calls them a "hero". That makes me sad. So many people gave their lives for Freedom and their Countries in WW1 & WW2, those men and women are real Heros. They volunteered to fight and many knew there chances of coming back alive and in one piece were extremely small. And many who are still alive today receive next to no thanks and live out their last years in poverty. Yah...that makes me sad.

What makes me Horny? Well...I just get horny...it just kindda happens. LOL. As for the solution...Take a gallon of vinegar (2 liter will do), put all of it into a bowl. Next mix in a whole box of baking soda and stir...stir...STIR!! This works best is your in your wearing underwear, plastic shoes along with dark sunglasses. Let me know how it turns out. First things, first. WHAT THE HELL DOES CRUSH MEAN, anyway?? I don't know why it's SO hard for people to admit who their crushe/s is/are. This isn't grade school, folks. Wake up!! What the hell have you (general) got to loose?? Loosen up, life is TOO FREAKING short!!

Having a crush on someone simply means liking that person. Does anyone have a MORE simple definition? Pedro likes Jane, so freakin what?? That's their life, their business.

Hell I'd admit to having a crush on Joel when I was still lurking on AC1, however after realizing how much of a jerk he really is ---- I'm not dissing Joel here. Just MY opinion of him. Next on the list was Jon, I think he's an all-around sweet guy ---- TOO nice, where is he now anyways? Then went on to liking Dale, yeah you the incredibly arrogant Canuck. Now wipe that smirk off your face, let me finish. This was before this whole hot seat thing got started. Nice way of "bringing out" the person not by his responses per say, but how one makes his/her offhand remarks. (I'll keep this short).

Ok..Cathy im sorry if I said something that offended you. But...do you not include Eli as part of your Blog? That means he is fair play if you choose to disclose your relationship with us, and if I include him in my posts then it's all fair game. I certainly didn't put him down or talk bad about him, so why all the drama?

I did however think that he was the "starving artist" in question from the pic with the couch next to the fridge. Again...my mistake. But when you post something online you must expect some sort of response, or do you only like responses that you approve? And I guess in re-reading my post, I was partly reffering to the fact that when I asked you if you had met your man yet you told me that the both of you had not met and will not for some time due to the lack of money for plane tickets on both ends. Why the anger?? What I write on my blog is MY business. MY thoughts. MY feelings. MY opinion. MY life. It's a free flowing thread. I chose to share it. I don't have to explain why I make it public. It's MY choice. But that doesn't give YOU or anyone the right to criticize Eli or any person on my blog however way you chose it. You base your opinion on what I chose to reveal. You don't know half the story. So shut it!

I can see this seat is getting really hot.

Let me remind you ALL, the reason why I decided to have this kind of category. The main reason is for us to get to know the poster/member in a more personal level. Second reason, is for fun and excitement.

Any personal matter should be discussed behind close door.

I'm sticking to my rules: Current Celebrity may or may not answer all your questions to protect himself/herself. So not all question will be entertained depends on the current celebrity.

The thread will be close as soon as Dale got someone to take over the seat.

Ok...I feel the need to clear the air before this thread gets closed.

First....Cathy. You just have to stop for a few minutes, (breath deep......and exhale.....and again....Ahhh!!) Cath, what I posted about Online Relationships was strickly my experiences. Nothing more...nothing less. I was NOT reffering to you in any way, and I even posted that more than once to make the point clear. You just boiled over for what reason I have no idea. I was never at any time telling people what to do, or how to do things. PERIOD!! You just saw it that way. I would NEVER talk down to anyone. I have always maintained a position of independance on issues of online relationships. Heck...if you had cared to read my posts carefully in previous months I told you more than once that your online relationship with (someone) LOL was cool and I wished you guys all the best.

Next....I just find it's hard sometimes because of the one dimensionality of posts to effectively gauge someones intent online. I really need to start using the LOL more because alot of the things I say...scratch that...almost all of the things I say are said with tongue-in-cheek humor.

Next....Why is it so hard these days to post an opinon online?? Heck, I don't diss other members on this board when I don't agree with them. I just post back some facts and go with the flow. If someone else posts back their views, I take everything they post into consideration. I don't throw things at them for not thinking the same thoughts as me (well paper airplanes excluded). Good for them if they disagree with me. I have had a couple of run-ins with other members on this board, and every time I don't take it personally, in fact I respect their views and listen to everything they have to say. Maybe what they posted can change my mind, after all that happens from time to time.

Next....I know that there is no such thing as a "stupid person". There just isn't. I don't in any way think that the members who post here are stupid or any less-smart in any way than me, because that is such a load of corn flakes!! There are just people who know different things in life. If I know more about stock trading and World economies, then I don't think I know more than say...a mechanic, or a farmer in Brasil, or someone in the P.I. We just may have learned different things in our lives. And this is the last time I will post about this, because it's absurd that I am smarter than anyone else.

Finally....Cathy...you said that I limit myself and that I put up walls around me. I thought about what you wrote for awhile and I think you are somewhat correct in what you posted. I don't limit myself in any way. I really don't see that at all. I am online with many different people and post in many different online boards and I don't limit my life either online or in the real World in any way, with the possible exception of cutting down on what I eat. Now as for the "walls" part of your post. Maybe I do put up walls sometimes. I don't do that on purpose and it probably stems from going through several online relationships before realizing that I just didn't want to live my life through a computer screen anymore. I wanted more from life. Simple. I can admit it.
