Title: Re: Best Philippine Vacation Spot Post by teagirl on Aug 29th, 2004, 1:54am Well, Dale....I live in Cebu and its a paradise. With sugar sand beaches and the blue sky meets the blue waters. But the reason why I dont advertize my island is because when they come here, they dont want to leave anymore. Take for example, Looky. Grrrrrrrr....the moment Looky leaves Cebu, I'm closing the airports!!! |

Title: Re: Best Philippine Vacation Spot Post by Need4Speed8DaleJr on Dec 1st, 2006, 1:50am I was doing a little bit of research on the PI and I hear alot about Davao and Boracay as a Travel destination. Boracay is supposed to have white sand beaches and offer a nice NightLife and good snorkeling, but on the downside it's supposed to be "touristy" and expensive. I'm looking for a place that offers clear blue-green waters, white sand beaches and good snokeling, with a few small Resorts that are quiet and offer good food and services, that isn't located too far out of the way or too close to a major city. Any suggestions from the Philippine regulars? Davao I hear is a Southern PI city that is supposed to offer a great place to visit without all the Big city hype. I have also heard that because the city is located in the South it may not be the safest place for a traveler, but I don't know if what I have read is 100% accurate so maybe some advice from a few PI locals from that side of the Pond can set me straight. |
